    Dyddiad/Date: 19eg Hydref 2020

    Annwyl Riant/Gofalwr

Wrth inni ddod i hanner tymor a chyda’r cyhoeddiad am y toriad, roeddwn i eisiau amlinellu’r mesurau y mae angen eu hystyried dros y pythefnos nesaf mewn perthynas ag ysgolion.

Mae'n hanner tymor yr wythnos nesaf ac er y gallai eich plentyn / plant fod wedi cael gweithgareddau gwaith cartref annibynnol i'w gwneud gan yr ysgol, ni fydd athrawon yn darparu unrhyw wersi / gweithgareddau ar-lein.

A allwch chi sicrhau nad yw'ch plentyn / plant yn cymysgu â phlant eraill yn ystod yr wythnos ac nad ydyn nhw allan â'u ffrindiau ar unrhyw adeg.

Er gwaethaf ei fod yn hanner tymor, a allwch barhau i hysbysu'r ysgol ar unwaith OS bydd eich plentyn yn derbyn canlyniad prawf Covid-19 cadarnhaol gan y bydd hyn yn galluogi nodi unrhyw gyfnodau ynysu ar ôl hanner tymor.

Yn ystod wythnos 2il Tachwedd ar gyfer y grwpiau blwyddyn hynny yn ôl yn yr ysgol mae'n bwysig eich bod yn parhau i gadw at bellter cymdeithasol wrth ollwng neu godi'ch plentyn o'r ysgol a hefyd fod yn ystyriol wrth ddefnyddio'ch car.

Diolch am eich cefnogaeth barhaus yn ystod y cyfnod heriol hwn,

    Yn gywir

    Dear Parent/Guardian,

As we come to half-term, and with the announcement of the firebreak, I just wanted to outline the measures that need to be considered over the next two weeks in respect of schools.

It is half-term next week and although your child/ren may have been given independent homework activities to do by the school, there will be no online lessons/activities delivered by Teachers.

Please can you ensure that your child/ren do not mix with other children during the week and are not out and about with their friends at any point.

Despite it being half-term please can you continue to inform the school immediately IF your child receives a positive Covid-19 test result as this will enable any isolation periods post-half-term to be identified.(info@rhyd-y-grug.cymru)

During the week of 2nd November for those year groups back in school it is important that you continue to stick to social distancing when dropping off or picking up your child from school and also be considerate if using your car.

For those of you with children in Years 9,10 & 11 – work will be provided during the school day by teachers and it is important that your child carries on with their learning activities in the home environment.  No older child should be collecting younger siblings from school or be out in the community during this time.

Thank you for your ongoing support during these challenging times,

    Yours sincerely

    SUE WALKER,

    CHIEF OFFICER (LEARNING)

    PRIF SWYDDOG (DYSGU)

    Annwyl Rieni/Gofalwyr

Rydym wedi cael gwybod bod plentyn sy'n teithio ar yr un bws â'ch plentyn wedi profi'n gadarnhaol am Covid-19. Yn dilyn cyngor pellach gan Iechyd y Cyhoedd heddiw rydym yn gofyn i'ch plentyn ynysu tan 28 Hydref, bydd yn gallu dychwelyd i'r ysgol ar ôl hanner tymor. Nid oes angen i unrhyw un arall yn y teulu ynysu oni bai bod rhywun yn yr aelwyd yn datblygu symptomau.

Er ein bod yn deall bod hyn yn peri pryder, cofiwch ein bod yn gwneud popeth o fewn ein gallu i sicrhau diogelwch eich plentyn bob amser ac edrychwn ymlaen at eu gweld ar ôl hanner tymor.

    Dear Parents/Carers

We have been informed that a child who travels on the same bus as your child has tested positive for Covid-19. Following further advice from Public Health today we are asking that your child isolates until 28th October, they will be able to return to school after half-term. There is no need for anyone else in the family to isolate unless someone in the household develops symptoms.

Whilst understanding this is concerning, please be assured we are doing all we can to ensure the safety of your child at all times and look forward to seeing them after half-term.

    Sue Walker

    CHIEF EDUCATION OFFICER
