Mae’r Corff Llywodraethu yn gyfrifol am weld bod yr ysgol yn cael ei rhedeg yn effeithiol, gan weithredu o fewn y fframwaith a osodir gan ddeddfwriaeth a bod polisïau yr Awdurdod Lleol (ALl) a Llywodraeth Cymru (LlC) yn cael eu dilyn.
Mae'r Pennaeth, a'r Uwch Dîm Arwain yn gweithio mewn partneriaeth agos a chytbwys gyda’r Corff Llywodraethu er mwyn darparu'r addysg orau bosibl i'r disgyblion yn Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd y Grug.
Mae'r Corff Llywodraethu llawn yn cyfarfod o leiaf unwaith bob tymor ac mae yna hefyd nifer o is-bwyllgorau sy'n cwrdd yn rheolaidd

The Governing Body has a responsibility for seeing that the school is run effectively, acting within the framework set by legislation and that the policies of the Local Authority (LA) and the Welsh Government (WG) are adhered to.
The Headteacher, the Senior Leadership Team and the Governing Body work in a close and balanced partnership to provide the best possible education for the pupils at Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd y Grug.
The full Governing Body meets at least once each term and there are also a number of sub-committees that meet regularly.
