A short message to let you know that there are new resources available for you on class website pages and DOJO for Foundation Phase pupils and Google Classroom for KS2 pupils. Please ensure that your child signs on to their account and then they will be able to access the tasks set by the teachers.

As always , if you need clarification on any of the tasks , please contact your childs` teacher directly using e-mail (Addresses are on the News tab of our website - www.rhyd-y-grug.cymru).

Please share all types of work completed at home with the staff through DoJo or Google Classroom , or directly with us on Twitter using @rhydygrug.

All Foundation Phase classes have posted a new activities grid on their class page on the website - please take your time in working through the many varied activities - remember there is no right or wrong way to complete these tasks - they are there to provide a basis for learning through fun and exploration.

We really enjoy looking at what the children have been doing , thank you all for your hard work during this difficult time.

Llythyr Plant CA2 / KS2 Pupil Letter

Hello Parent/Guardian,

We hope you are all well. We are missing the children but hoping that you are enjoying spending more time together. Due to the continuing situation of 'lockdown' we will now be producing a fortnightly grid with tasks which will help in continuing to support your child's learning at home. We will be emailing the grid and any supporting links directly to you every other Monday morning on a fortnightly basis. It has been great that so many of the children are keeping in touch through Google Classroom; completing tasks, chatting and uploading photos of themselves and their pieces of work. This is a great way to keep connected Monday to Friday and will no doubt help them to still feel a part of the school community. Our hope is that all children will actively join Google Classroom this coming term and complete the fun and exciting tasks which we have prepared for them. There will be a folder for each task on your child’s Google Classroom page for them to upload work directly. We will respond individually to each piece of work submitted.

Mae hi wedi bod yn braf cadw mewn cysylltiad gyda'r plant trwy Google Classroom, i ddweud helo yn ddyddiol, cwblhau tasgau a lanlwytho lluniau a darnau o waith. Mae'n fffordd wych o gadw mewn cysylltiad o Ddydd Llun tan Ddydd Gwener a siwr o fod yn help iddynt i dal deimlo'n rhan o gymuned yr ysgol. Gobeithiwn y bydd pob plentyn yn cadw mewn cysylltiad yn y ffordd yma yn ystod y tymor nesaf ac yn cwblhau y tasgau hwylus a diddorol rydyn ni wedi paratoi. Mi fydd ffowlder ar dudalen Google Classroom eich plentyn ar gyfer cyflwyno y gwaith a mi fyddan ni yn ymateb i bob un darn o waith sy’n dod mewn.
