    Annwyl Rieni/Gofalwyr,

Yr oeddwn am roi gwybod ichi y bydd ysgolion ar draws Merthyr Tudful yn cau ar gyfer y gwyliau ar 18 Rhagfyr 2020.

Hoffwn ddiolch yn fawr eto am bopeth yr ydych wedi'i wneud i gefnogi ein hysgolion ers mis Medi. Mae'r sefyllfa coronafeirws barhaus yn dal i fod gyda ni felly a allaf ofyn i chi i gyd barhau i'n cefnogi i gadw ysgolion ar agor drwy wneud y canlynol:-

    • Cadw eich plentyn oddi ar yr ysgol os oes unrhyw un yn y cartref neu'r grŵp cyswllt uniongyrchol yn arddangos symptomau gan gynnwys os yw'n aros am ganlyniad prawf

    • Hysbysu'r ysgol ar unwaith OS yw eich plentyn yn derbyn prawf Covid-19 cadarnhaol (AR GYFER Y CYFNOD GWYLIAU YN UNIG - OS BYDD EICH PLENTYN YN DATBLYGU SYMPTOMAU AR ÔL 21 RHAGFYR NID OES ANGEN HYSBYSU'R YSGOL GAN NA FYDD UNRHYW OBLYGIADAU I SWIGOD DOSBARTH)

o Os yw eich plentyn wedi cael Prawf Llif Ochrol cadarnhaol (y prawf 30 munud) rhaid i'r cartref agos ynysu tan ganlyniad y prawf nesaf (y prawf PCR) – os yw'r prawf PCR yn gadarnhaol bydd angen dilyn y disgwyliadau ynysu cenedlaethol.

    • Os yw'n ofynnol i'ch plentyn ynysu, gwnewch yn siŵr nad yw'n gadael y tŷ ar ei gyfer yn ystod y cyfnod ynysu. Ni ddylent fod yn cymysgu â phlant neu bobl ifanc eraill, yn mynd i gartrefi eraill, nac yn casglu brodyr a chwiorydd eraill o'r ysgol.

o Peidio â ymgynnull â rhieni eraill y tu allan i gatiau'r ysgol wrth ollwng neu godi eich plant a gwisgo gorchudd wyneb pan fyddwch yn safle'r ysgol ac o'i amgylch.  Cadw pellter o 2m oddi wrth eraill bob amser.

    • Bod yn ystyriol o eraill os ydych yn gollwng neu'n codi eich plentyn mewn car – codwyd nifer o bryderon i ni ac i'r heddlu ynghylch tagfeydd diangen oherwydd parcio y tu allan i gatiau'r ysgol.

Cadwch yn ddiogel a byddwch yn ofalus.

    Yn gywir

    Dear Parents/Carers

I just wanted to let you know that schools across Merthyr Tydfil will close for the holiday period on 18th December 2020.

May I just say a big thank you again for everything you have done to support our schools since September. The ongoing coronavirus situation is still with us so please can I ask you all to continue support us to keep schools open by doing the following:-

    • Keeping your child off school if anyone in the household or immediate contact group is displaying symptoms including if they are waiting for a test result

    • Informing the school immediately IF your child receives a positive Covid-19 test (FOR THE HOLIDAY PERIOD ONLY -  IF YOUR CHILD DEVELOPS SYMPTOMS AFTER 21st DECEMBER THERE IS NO NEED TO INFORM THE SCHOOL AS THERE WILL BE NO IMPLICATIONS FOR CLASS BUBBLES)

      • If your child has had a positive Lateral Flow Test (the 30 minute test) the immediate household must isolate until the result of the next test (the PCR test) – if the PCR test is positive the national isolation expectations will need to be followed.

    • If your child is required to isolate making sure they do not leave the house for during the isolation period. They should not be mixing with other children or young people, going into other households, or picking other siblings up from school.

      • Not congregating with other parents outside school gates when dropping off or picking up your children and wearing a face covering when you in and around the school site.  Keeping a 2m distance from others at all times.

    • Being considerate of others if dropping off or picking up you child by car – there have been a number of concerns raised to us and to the police regarding unnecessary congestion due to parking outside school gates.

Please stay safe and take care.

    Yours sincerely

  • Dosbarth Miss Clement - URGENT UPDATE

    Thu 03 Dec 2020

Mae disgybl wedi profi'n bositif am COVID19 - ydych chi'n gallu casglu eich plentyn o'r ysgol cyn gynted ag y bo modd os gwelwch yn dda?

A pupil in Miss Clements class has tested positive for COVID19 - could you please arrange to collect your child as soon as possible to start the self-isolation period. We will inform you later today of how long the isolation period should be. The pupil has NOT been using school transport.
