Rydym yn gwybod bod y pandemig wedi bod yn heriol. Rydym i gyd wedi cael llond bol o’r holl gyfyngiadau, aflonyddwch ac ansicrwydd. Rydym yn gwybod na allwn helpu hyn ond mae’n rhwystredig iawn.

Un o’r heriau mwyaf a hir dymor yw addysgu. Rydym yn gwybod pa mor bryderus ydych am eich plant yn dal fyny ar gyfnod allweddol y neu datblygiad. Does neb eisiau gweld plentyn yn brwydro gyda’u dysgu.

Does dim hudlath gennym ond  gallwn gynnig peth cymorth trwy gwrs Raglen Deulu (DPG).

Beth yw Rhaglenni Teulu?

  • Cwrs rhad ac am ddim sy’n dangos i rieni, gofalwyr ac eraill sut mae llythrennedd a rhifedd yn cael ei ddysgu mewn ysgolion.
  • Mae’n  cynnig syniadau, adnoddau a’r arfau ar sut i helpu eich plentyn gyda’i gwaith ysgol.
  • Mae’n helpu i wella y berthynas gyda ysgol eich plentyn a’ch galluogi i chwarae rhan lawnach yn eu haddysg.
  • Mae’n eich galluogi i wella eich sgiliau ac ennill tystysgrif
  • Gall fod yn gam cyntaf i ddatblygu eich dysgu ac ennill cymhwyster
  • Sut mae’n gweithio?

  • Tiwtorial wythnosol arlein ( yn defnyddio cyswllt fideo o’r enw Teams)
  • Treulio awr gyda tiwtor profiadol – yn edrych ar lythrennedd neu Rifedd (neu y ddau os hoffech!)
  • Byddwch yn derbyn adnoddau am ddim, yn cynnwys gemau, offer crefft a phrojectau – wedi eu cynllunio I’w cyflawni gartref gyda’ch plentyn
  • Bydd eich plentyn yn mynd a’r project i’r ysgol i gymeryd rhan mewn “dangos a dweud” byw (trwy gyswllt fideo).  Ymunwch â nhw i’w cefnogi!

Beth os does dim cyfrifiadur gen i?

  • Dim problem! Mae nifer o liniaduron y gallwn eu benthyg i chi gwblhau y cwrs.

Ond dydw i ddim yn hyderus ar gyfrifiaduron…

  • Mae’n iawn. Bydd ein tiwtoriaid profiadol ac amyneddgar yn eich llywio trwy’r elfennol o ymuno yn y sesiynau wythnosol. Dyna’i gyd sydd rhaid wybod.

Dydw i ddim ar y wê…

  • Dim problem. Mae nifer o hybs wi-fi gennym i chi gysylltu ar y wê (am ddim)– digon i’ch galluogi i gwblhau y cwrs

Byddai yn well gen i fynd i ddosbarth, os yn bosib…

Family Programmes (PAL)

Dear Parents, Carers and Grandparents…

We know the pandemic has been challenging.  Let’s be honest, we are all fed up with the restrictions, disruptions, and uncertainty. We know this cannot be helped, but it’s frustrating all the same.

One of the biggest and most long-term challenge has been around schooling.  We know you are worried about how children will catch up at a critical time in their developmental stage. No one wants to see a child struggle with their learning.

We cannot promise you a magic wand, but we can offer some help through our free Family Programmes (PAL) course.

What is Family Programmes?

  • A fun, free course which shows parents, carers, and grandparents how literacy and numeracy is taught in schools.
  • It gives you tools, resources, and tips on how to help your child with their schoolwork
  • It helps you build better links with school and take a more active part in your child’s education
  • Enables you to improve your own skills and confidence and gain a certificate
  • It may help you go on to further learning and achieve qualifications
  • How does it work?
  • You will enjoy a weekly online tutorial (using a video link called Teams)
  • You will spend one hour with one of our expert tutors – looking at Numeracy or Literacy (or both if you like!)
  • You will receive a free pack of resources, filled with games, crafts materials, and projects – all designed to do at home with your child
  • Your child will take their projects to school and take part in a live “show and tell” (also by video link).  Join them online and cheer them on!                                                What happens if I don’t have a computer?
  • No problem!  We have a limited number of laptops which we can loan to you to help you complete the course.
  • But I am not confident using a computer…

  • That’s ok. Our expert and patient tutors will go through the basics of how to join the weekly tutorials.  That’s all you need to know.                                                               I do not have access to the internet…
  • No worries. We have a small number of wi-fi hubs to allow you to connect to the internet (free of charge) – enough to allow you to complete the course

I do not have access to the internet…

  • No worries. We have a small number of wi-fi hubs to allow you to connect to the internet (free of charge) – enough to allow you to complete the course                                  I’d still prefer to learn in a classroom, if possible…
  • Not an issue!  We have courses running in local community venues. Ask us for details

I have small children at home, so it would be difficult for me to attend…

  • We thought about that too!  If you have any concerns about childcare, talk to us.  We may be able to help.
