Croeso i Ddosbarth Titw Tomos Las.

Mae 19 o blant yn ein dosbarth.

Welcome to our class, Titw Tomos Las.

There are 19 of us altogether!

Yn ystod y diwrnod mi fydd plant yn brysur iawn! Yn y bore rydyn yn ymarfer darllen, sillafu a llawysgrifen trwy sesiynau tric a chlic cyn gwneud gwaith iaith. Y tymor yma mi fyddwn ni’n dysgu am stori Roald Dahl Mr Cadno Campus ac yn mwynhau storiâu Saesneg Julia Donaldson. Ar ôl hynny rydyn yn gwneud gwers mathemateg.

During the days we will be very busy! First thing in the morning we practice reading spelling and handwriting through tric a chlic sessions before moving on to language work. In Welsh we will learn about the story ‘Mr Cadno Campus’ (Fantasic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl), and we will enjoy Julia Donaldson stories’ in English lessons. After language, we complete our Mathematic lesson.

Yn y prynhawn rydyn yn cyflawni gwaith thema ac yn ffocysu ar lythrennedd, rhifedd a lles yn ystod y gwersi. Mi fyddwn ni yn dysgu llawer am Fasnach Deg, ac yn cyflawni gweithgareddau sydd yn dysgu ni am gyfandiroedd y byd, lleoli gwledydd ar fap gan ddefnyddio cyfesurynnau Atlas, a gwnned gwaith cymesuredd baneri . Dysgwn am arian, data ac amser trwy’r pwnc hefyd. Yn Hanes, mi fyddwn ni yn Nosbarth Titw Tomos Las yn teithio yn ôl mewn amser i gyfnod y 90au. A Byddwn yn dysgu sut i greu llinell amser digwyddiadau'r90au. Fel rhan o Fis Hanes Pobl Dduon, edrychwn ar bobl dduon dylanwadol o’r cyfnod. Yn ystod cyfres o wersi Gwyddoniaeth byddwn yn ymchwilio i Rymoedd, a defnyddio ein sgiliau technolegol i gynllunio a chreu.

During the afternoon we complete our thematic work and will be giving great focus to literacy, numeracy and wellbeing during these sessions. We will be learning a lot about Fairtrade, and completing activities that teach us about the continents of the world, locating countries using Atlas coordinates and looking at flag symmetry. We will learn about money, data and time whilst exploring Fairtrade also. We will be travelling back to the 90s in history. We will be learning to create timelines and studying significant events of the decade. As part of Black History Month we will be looking at influential black people for the 90s. During a series of science lessons we will explore Forces and use our technological skills to design and create.

Mae gwersi Addysg Gorfforol yn digwydd ar brynhawn Ddydd Mercher. Rydyn ni’n mynd i fwynhau gwersi ffitrwydd a chwarae gemau tîm.

Physical education lessons take place on a Wednesday afternoon. We will be enjoying fitness sessions and playing team building games.

Mae disgwyl i’r plant parhau i ymarfer darllen pob nos er mwyn gwella sgiliau a symud ymlaen yn y gyfres darllen. Unwaith bod y plant yn barod, byddant yn gorffen y gyfres darllen ac mi fydd llawer o lyfrau stori ddiddorol a hwyl ar gael i ddewis a mynd adref. Os oes cyfle mi fydd hi’n werth ymarfer llawysgrifen, sillafu a thablau lluosi yn ystod yr wythnos. Mae disgwyl i’r plant cyflawni tasgau gwaith cartref dros y penwythnos ar Google Classroom. Cyflawnwch y gwaith cartref erbyn dydd Mawrth os gwelwch yn dda.

Children are expected to continue practising their reading every night in order to better their skills and move on in the reading scheme. Once the children are ready they will finish the reading scheme and will be able to choose some interesting and exciting books from the class to take home and read. If there is opportunity to, it would be beneficial for the children to practice handwriting skills, spelling and multiplication tables at home during the week. The children are expected to complete homework tasks over the weekend on Google Classroom please. This is due to be completed every Tuesday.
