Welcome to the Summer term! Hope you are all well and staying safe. We are all missing the children but enjoying seeing the activities they are completing and videos that you send us. Due to the continuing situation we will now be producing a fortnightly grid with tasks to support your child's learning at home.

We will be uploading the grid on a Monday morning every fortnight on the class page on the school website. There will also be sharing  other  links and activities to support the learning on class Dojo. These activities can be completed at any time in any order over the fortnight . We will also continue to share any additional class challenges or new ideas that we may find during the week.  Please remember to upload  or email the photos, videos or comments to us daily and we will share with the class wherever possible. We will continue to respond individually to each activity posted Monday to Friday.

O ganlyniad i'r sefyllfa bresennol yn parhau fe fyddwn ni nawr yn paratoi grid  gweithgareddau dros bythefnos er mwyn cefnogi eich plentyn adref,

Byddwn yn lanlwytho'r grid ar fore Llun bob pythefnos ar dudalen wefan dosbarth.  Fe allwch chi gwblhau'r gweithgareddau mewn unrhyw drefn, unrhyw amser. Byddwn ni hefyd yn parhau i rannu heriau / syniadau newydd gennych ar Dojo wrth iddynt godi yn ystod yr wythnos. Cofiwch ddanfon eich lluniau, sylwadau neu fideos drwy Dojo neu e-bost fel ein bod yn gallu rhannu gyda'ch ffrindiau. Fe fyddwn ni hefyd yn parhau i ymateb yn unigol i'r gweithgareddau neu'r sylwadau.

Bydd taflen Gwaith Cartref yn cael ei ddarparu pob hanner tymor. Gallwch ddewis y tasgau hoffech chi gyflawni dros yr hanner tymor. Gofynnwn i chi ddewis 1 tasg iaith, 1 tasg rhifedd ac 1 tasg thema, i'w gyflawni mewn unrhyw drefn. 
Gweler y linc am dasgau gwaith cartref yr hanner tymor hwn. 
A homework sheet will be provided every half term. You can choose the tasks you would like to complete over the next 6 weeks. You can choose more than 3 tasks if you would like, however please complete 1 literacy, 1 numeracy and 1 theme activity, in any order, by the dates provided.

Welcome to the Spring Term!

Ein thema newydd yw 'Un Tro'. Byddwn yn edrych ar chwedlau Cymreig fel Santes Dwynwen a Cantre'r Gwaelod, cestyll Cymru a phethau hen a newydd y tymor yma. Yn ogystal â hyn, byddwn yn dysgu am hanes y dinosoriaid. Byddwn yn ddiolchgar o unrhyw adnoddau, gwybodaeth neu gysylltiadau sydd gennych er mwyn helpu ni i ddysgu!
Our new topic is 'Once Upon a Time'. We will be looking at Welsh folk stories such as Santes Dwynwen and Cantre'r Gwaelod, welsh castles and old and new objects this term. We will also be learning about the history of the dinosaurs. We would be grateful of any resources, information or contacts that you have to help us learn! 

Cofiwch, mae ein diwrnod Ymarfer Corff wedi newid i Ddydd Mercher. Fe fydd angen cit addas bob wythnos, ond mae croeso i chi ei adael yn yr ysgol am yr hanner tymor. Ni fydd angen esgidiau ymarfer tymor hyn. 
Remember, our P.E. day has changed to Wednesday. Suitable kit will be needed every week however, it can be left in school for the half term. Trainers will not be needed this term. 

Byddwn hefyd yn parhau gyda'n sesiynau Mercher Mwdlyd bob bore Dydd Mercher. Fe fydd angen cot a welis bob wythnos. 
We will also be continuing with our Welly Wednesday sessions every Wednesday morning. Please remember wellies and a suitable coat every week. 
 

Mae ein sesiynau snac ar brynhawn Ddydd Gwener wedi bod yn llwyddiant mawr, ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen at barhau gyda hyn y tymor yma. Plîs cysylltwch â'r ysgol os oes unrhyw newidiadau meddygol mae angen i ni fod yn ymwybodol ohonynt.
Our snack sessions on Friday afternoons have been a big success, ac we are looking forward to continuing with them this term. Please contact the school if there have been any medical changes in diet we need to be aware of.

Welcome to dosbarth GwdiHw!

Mae 34 o blant Blwyddyn 1 yn ein dosbarth. Miss Long yw'r athrawes ddosbarth ac mae Mrs Ryan a Mrs Whitney yn ein helpu hefyd.

There are 34 of us in our Year 1 class. Miss Long is our teacher and Mrs Ryan and Mrs Whitney help us to. 

Mae ein diwrnod Addysg Gorfforol ar Ddydd Mawrth. Fe fydd angen cit addas arnom bob wythnos. Cofiwch i labeli bob dilledyn yn glir gydag enw eich plentyn. Ni fydd angen esgidiau ymarfer tymor yma.
Our P.E. day is Tuesday. Suitable kit will be needed every week. Please remember to label each item of clothing clearly with your childs name. Trainers will not be needed this term.

Byddwn hefyd yn gwneud ein sesiynau 'Mawrth Mwdlyd' ar y diwrnod hwn ac fe fydd angen cot addas ac esgidiau glaw arnom bob wythnos. Mae croeso i chi adael unrhyw esgidiau glaw yn yr ysgol. 
We will also be holding our 'Muddy Tuesday' sessions every Tuesday afternoon. Please remember to bring a rain coat and wellies every week! Please let us know if you would like to leave the wellies in school. 

Fe fydd Gwaith Cartref yn cael ei osod ar Ddydd Iau, ac mae angen ei ddychwelyd ar Ddydd Llun. Gofynnwn i chi ddarllen bob nos yn y tŷ gyda'ch plentyn, a chofnodi yn y cofnod darllen. Cofiwch ddod â'ch ffeiliau darllen i'r ysgol bob dydd os gwelwch yn dda.
Homework will be given on Thursday, and is collected on Mondays. Please read at home with your child every night, and write in the reading record. Remember to bring your file to school everyday.

Ein thema'r tymor yma yw Un Noson Dywyll. Byddwn yn canolbwyntio ar stori 'Y Rhiain Gwsg' ac yn edrych ar ddydd a nos, anifeiliaid y nos, breuddwydion, y gofod a golau. Byddwn hefyd yn dysgu am Diwali a Noson Tân Gwyllt. 
Our theme this term is 'One Dark Night'. We will be concentrating on the story 'Sleeping Beauty' and will be looking at day and night, nocturnal animals, dreams, space and light. We will also be learning about Bonfire Night and Diwali.
