Yn ystod ein gwersi Thema fe fyddwn yn dysgu am fywyd yn ystod yr Oes Fictoria, yn enwedig y Chwyldro Diwydiannol. Bydd focws ein gwersi Cymraeg ar antur y Cymry i Batagonia yn 1865 a byddwn yn seilio ein gwaith Saesneg ar y nofel ‘The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips’ gan Michael Morpurgo. Trwy ein hastudiaethau Gwyddoniaeth byddwn yn dysgu am solid, hylif a nwy. Ffocws ein wythnos Eco eleni fydd ar lygredd aer a chynhesu byd eang.

Os oes gennych unrhyw wybodaeth neu arbenigedd yn y pynciau uchod, fe fyddwn yn ddiolchgar os gallech chi eu rhannu gyda ni.

This term’s theme is ‘Black Gold’.

We will be learning about what life was like during the Victorian era, with a particular focus on the Industrial Revolution. Our Welsh work will be centred on the voyage to Patagonia in 1865 and our English work will be on the novel ‘The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips’ by Michael Morpurgo. During our Science lessons we will be learning about solid, liquid and gas. The focus of our Eco week this year will be on air pollution as a contributor to global warming.

P.E

Monday is our P.E day and all pupils will need a suitable kit of shorts, white t-shirt, trainers and tracksuit bottoms in the winter.

Bydd ein gwaith Saesneg yn ffocysu ar nofel David Walliams ‘Gangsta Granny’ a’n gwaith Cymraeg ar lyfr ‘Rhyfel Sam’ gan Glenys Lloyd.

This term's theme is ‘Travelling through the century’

Within our History and Art lessons we will be looking at what life in Britain was like during and after the Second World War. During our Science lessons we will be looking at how different forces work. We will also be learning more about Wales in our Geography lessons.

We will be reading ‘Gangsta Granny’ by David Walliams in our English lessons and our Welsh lessons will focus around the story of an evacuee in ‘Rhyfel Sam’ by Glenys Lloyd.

Fel arfer, gosodir gwaith cartref ar Ddydd Gwener a rhaid cofio ei ddychwelyd erbyn y Dydd Mawrth canlynol. Disgwylir i bob plentyn ddarllen llyfrau Saesneg a Chymraeg yn gyson adref a chofnodi eu cynnydd yn eu Cofnod Darllen. Ar ben hyn mae gan bob disgybl set o dablau Mathemateg a geiriau sillafu Cymraeg a Saesneg (yn briodol ar gyfer eu lefel personol) yn eu ffowlderi ‘Cyswllt Cartref’.

Homework is usually set on Fridays and should be returned the following Tuesday. All children are expected to read both English and Welsh reading books regularly at home and record their progress in their Reading Records. All children also have a set of times tables and spelling words, which are appropriate for the level at which they are working, in their 'Cyswllt Cartref' folders.
