Taith Welis / Welly Walk

Tair mlynedd yn ol fe wnaethon ni Welly Walk i godi arian ar gyfer elusen o'r enw Farm Africa.O ganlyniad i'r argyfwng bwyd sydd gyda'r gwetha' ers 50 mlynedd yn ardal y Sahel yn Africa mae'r Gymuned a'r Cyngoe Eco wedi penderfynnu ceisio gwneud rhywbeth i helpu yn yr hir dymor. Mae' r elusen yma yn helpu ffermwyr i ddatblygu dulliau o ffermio mewn ardaloedd lle mae prinder mawr o ddwr. Wrth gwrs mae'r newidiadau mawr yn eu tywydd yn digwydd o ganlyniad i gynhesu byd-eang. felly, maent yn eu dysgu am fathau o gnydau sydd angen iddynt dyfu i wella eu siawns o gael cynhaeaf da. Mce'r cysyniad o roi cic i dlodi tu ol i'r syniad o wisgo welis. Felly ar Ddydd Iau yr 20fed o Hydref fe fydd angen i'ch plentyn gwisgo welis a dod a £1 neu fwy, os ydych yn dewis, i helpu codi arian at yr achos da yma

Diolch o galon

Three years ago we held a Welly Walk to raise money for the charity Farm Aafrica. in response to the food crisis currently being experienced in the Sahel regions of Africa, being the worst in 50 years due in part to the effects of global warming, the eco community and committee have decided to do something to help in the long run. this charity help farmers to develop better farming techniques and  help with the development of drought hardy crops that can still be grown in the harshest of conditions. Therefore the concept of holding a Welly Walk is based on the idea of giving poverty the boot. So on Thursday the 20th of

October we request that your child wears her/his wellies and dresses warmly to trek around the school's perineter. We ask kindly for you to sponsor them a £1 or more to do this to help us raise money for this worthy cause

Many thanks
